The Game Is On [Wooderful Life Music Box]

The scene of London was selected by an inspiration of the taxi’s scene from “Sherlock”, a very famous detective TV series of the BBC, starring by “Benedict Cumberbatch” (Sherlock Holmes) and “Martin Freeman” (Dr. John Watson).

The imagination of the scene was fulfilled by a black cab chasing around the Big Ben and pass a red telephone box with the sound of wind up music box plays “The Game Is On”. The song, also known as “Sherlock’s Theme”, was original composed by “David Arnold” and “Michael Price” for the Sherlock’s series.

I created this Sherlock’s music box from a wooden craft of “Wooderful Life Music Box” in the set of “London” which actually plays “Leise rieselt der Schnee” by replacing with my new handmade musical movement instead.

In the video clip also shows the good design of the mechanical of the music box. As you can see, the cab can turn to the right direction automatically when it matches the hidden rail.

ภาพรถแท็กซี่อังกฤษสีดำที่กลับรถแล้ววิ่งกวดไปรอบหอนาฬิกาบิ๊กเบนผ่านตู้โทรศัพท์สีแดง พร้อมกับเสียงดนตรีที่คุ้นหู “The Game Is On” หรือที่หลายคนรู้จักกันในชื่อ “Sherlock’s Theme” เพลงประกอบจากซีรีส์เชอร์ล็อกที่แต่งโดย “เดวิด อาร์โนลด์” และ “ไมเคิล ไพรซ์” ช่วยเติมเต็มจินตนาการให้ดูสมจริงยิ่งขึ้น

ผมทำกล่องดนตรีชิ้นนี้จากกล่องดนตรีไม้ชุด “ลอนดอน” ของ “Wooderful Life” ซึ่งแต่เดิมเล่นเพลง “Leise rieselt der Schnee” โดยนำมาตีความใหม่แล้วใส่กลไกกล่องดนตรีทำเองเพลงนี้ลงไปแทน

ในวิดีโอคลิปนี้ ยังแสดงการหมุนกลับของตัวรถไปยังทิศทางที่ถูกต้องโดยอัตโนมัติ ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึงการออกแบบที่ยอดเยี่ยมของชิ้นงานนี้
